TTT Challenge Theme - Out with the old, in with the NEW

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema Out with the old, in with the NEW - Use something new on your project, dus gebruik oude en nieuwe dingen.

The new challenge has started at Shelly's Images. This time it is a TTT Challenge and the theme is Out with the old, in with the NEW - Use something new on your project so use something old and something new.

Ik ben nog even doorgegaan met een kerstkaart.
Het is een criscroskaart geworden. Het papier is van Farm House (Norland Paper Pack).
Het hoekje is gemaakt met een stans van MFT en de rand is van Memorybox.

I've continued by making a christmas card.
It's a criss cross card. The paper is from Farm House (Norland Paper Pack).
The corner is from MFT and the border is from Memorybox.

TTT Challenge Theme - Give Thanks - Make a Thank you Card

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema Give Thanks - Make a Thank you Card, dus maak een bedankkaart of iets dergelijks.

The new challenge has started at Shelly's Images. This time it is a TTT Challenge and the theme is Give Thanks - Make a Thank you Card so make some kind of thank you card.

Ik vond het wel leuk om er een tasje van te maken.

Ik heb 2 digi's gebruikt, namelijk Pansies en Thanks sentiment. Ik heb de schoen ingekleurd met Spectrum Noir markers.

TTT Challenge Theme - Fall Inspiration Photo

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT met deze inspiratiefoto.

This time it is a TTT challenge with this inspiration photo.

Als voorbeeld heb ik dit mandje gemaakt.
Het model is uit de Silhouette Online store en heb ik uitgesneden met mijn Silhouette.
Het designpapier is van Bo Bunny (Apple Cider collection).
Als digi heb ik gekozen voor "pumpkins" en die heb ik ingekleurd met spectrum noir markers.

TTT Challenge Theme - Roll 'Em

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT en Roll 'Em challenge wat inhoudt dat je minimaal 3x met de Random.org een nummer moet trekken en dan het bijbehorende onderdeel moet gebruiken. Mijn nummers waren 3 (Die or Punch), 5 (dry embossing) en 4 (kraft paper).
Als voorbeeld heb ik een framekaart gemaakt met de digi Native American Girl en die heb ik ingekleurd met mijn Spectrum Noir markers.
Het papier komt uit een blokje van de Action.
De randen heb ik gemaakt met een stans van Crealies en daarna heb ik hem geëmbosd.

This time it is a TTT challenge Roll 'Em. which means you have to click the Random.org at least 3 times to pick the things you have to use. My numbers were 3 (Die or Punch), 5 (dry embossing) en 4 (kraft paper).
I've made a frame card and use the digi  Native American Girl that I've coloured with Spectrum Noir markers.
The border is made with a die from Crealies and after that I've embossed it.

New Baby

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema Oh Scrap!!!!  Use your scraps on your projects!  Dus een opdracht om je restjes op te maken.

The new challenge has started at Shelly's Images. This time it is a TTT Challenge and the theme is Oh Scrap!!!!  Use your scraps on your projects!  So you can use all your leftover scraps.


Omdat Shelly deze maand voor het eerst oma wordt heeft ze een hele mooie digi gemaakt en die heet "Sweet Baby Set" en het team heeft met deze digi gewerkt.

Because Shelly is going to be a grandmother for the first time this month the drew up a very nice digi which is called "Sweet Baby Set" and the team has worked with this digi.

De digi heb ik ingekleurd met mijn Spectrum Noir markers. Wat kleuren die toch fijn.

Christmas in July

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema Show us what you got!  Christmas in July. Dus een alles mag opdracht als het maar met kerst te maken heeft.

The new challenge has started at Shelly's Images. This time it is a TTT Challenge and the theme is Show us what you got!  Christmas in July. So you can make anything you want as long as it is for Christmas.

Ik heb gekozen om te werken met de digi "Christmas Cardinal" en vond het leuk om er iets anders dan een kaart mee te maken. Ik heb er een kerstornament van gemaakt.

I choose to work with the digi "Christmas Cardinal"and tought it would be nice to make something else than a card. I've made a Christmas ornament.

 

Het papier is van Forever Friends (Cosy Christmas). The papers are from Forever Friends (Cosy Christmas).

De digi is ingekleurd met derwentpotloden en daarna nog bewerkt met frantage shabby white.
The digi is colored with derwent pencils and I've used some frantage shabby white.

Vanaf deze maand is er ook een wijziging in de challenges bij Shelly's Images. Deze zullen niet meer 2 weken duren, maar voortaan 1 maand. Dus aan het begin van de maand is er steeds een nieuwe challenge.

From now on the challenges at Shelly's Image will change. They won't last 2 weeks but 1 month. So at the beginning of the month there will be a new challenge.

TTT Challenge Theme - Stars, Stripes, and Sparkle

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema Stars, Stripes and Sparkle (sterren, strepen en glitters). Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi Wish Upon a Star. Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Maja Design (Vintage Spring Basics). De digi is ingekleurd met derwentpotloden.
De strepen zitten in de jurk van het meisje. De sterren vinden jullie terug in de zeester en de plakparels. En de glitter heb ik op het afdrukje gebruikt en erachter.

TTT Beach theme

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema Beach theme (strand thema). Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi Beach Sign. Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Tilda (the seaside life). Ook de meeuw komt uit dit papier. De digi is ingekleurd met derwentpotloden en daarna op een stukje jute geplakt.

The paper is from Tilda (the seaside life). The bird also comes out of this paper. The digi is colored with derwents and then put on some jute.

Dit is ook mijn voorbeeld voor de nieuwe wedstrijd bij de club Cutie kaarten Vitrine waar we het thema zomer hebben.

TTT Anything goes

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema "Anything goes". Dat is makkelijk toch? Het team heeft gewerkt met de een eigen gekozen digi en ik heb gekozen voor Flower girl.
Ik wilde graag weer een layout combineren met een digi. Heb een layout gemaakt van een foto die van mij is gemaakt toen ik mijn 1e communie deed. Het papier is van V&A (Hanoverian). De rand is gemaakt met een stans van XCut.

This time it is a TTT Challenge and the theme is "Anything goes" The team has worked with the digi of their own choice and I've chosen for Flower girl. I wanted to combine a layout with a digi. I've made a layout with a picture when I was a little girl and received my Holy Communion. The paper is from V&A (Hanoverian). The border is made with a die from XCut.

Hier nog wat detailfoto's. De digi kan ook gebruikt worden bij een foto van bruidsmeisje, maar vond hem ook wel bij deze foto passen.
De letters heb ik uitgestans en met foamblokjes opgeplakt.
Here are some detailed pictures. The digi can also be used with a picture from a flower girl at a wedding, but I thought it worked with this picture.
The letters are cut out with a die and I've sticked them on with foam.

En nog even de foto wat groter. Hier zien jullie ook hoe lang mijn haar toen was. Ik droeg het eigenlijk altijd in een vlecht, maar voor mijn communie mocht het los. Ik werd door iedereen in de kerk aangekeken toen ze mijn haar zagen.
And the picuture a bit larger. Here you can see how long my hair was. Normally I had a it in a braid, but for this day I had it this way. Everybody in church was looking at me.

TTT

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema School's Out for SUMMER - Kid Theme Challenge. Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi Playball. Ik heb er deze kaart mee gemaakt. Het papier is van Authentique (Hope) en de digi is ingekleurd met derwentpotloden.

Ladybug Afternoon

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema April Showers bring May FLOWERS. Dat houdt in dat je je lekker uit mag leven met bloemen. Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi Ladybug Afternoon. Ik heb er gietertje mee gemaakt die ik heb uitgesneden met mijn Silhouette. Ook de klaproos op het handvat heb ik met mijn Silhouette gemaakt.

The team has worked with the digi Ladybug Afternoon. I've made this watering can which I cut with my Silhouette. Also the poppy flower is cut with my Silhouette.

Field of dreams

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema use scallops. Dat houdt in dat er in ieder geval iets met schulpjes op je projectje moet zitten. Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi Field of dreams. Ik heb er een layout van gemaakt. Was laatst met Shelly aan het chatten op Skype en toen ontstond het idee om een layout met de digi te maken. Op de foto zie je 3 generaties van onze Haflingers. Moeder Astrid was ons 1e paard in 1988, dan dochter Heidi en het veulen van Heidi. Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van FabScraps. De digi is ingekleurd metdistress inkt. De schuldranden heb ik uitgestanst met nestabilities. Verder alleen een hoek erbij van Noor! Design.

The team has worked with the digi Field of dreams. I made  a layout with it. I was chatting with Shelly on Skype the other day and there was the idea to use it on a layout. The paper is from FabScraps. The digi is colored with distress inks. The scallopes are made with nestabilities. And the corner is made with a die from Noor! Design.

TTT Show us what you got - Anything Goes

Vandaag is de nieuwe challenge by Shelly's Images weer begonnen. Het is een makkelijke deze keer. De challenge is Show us what you got!  Anything Goes. Nou dat is niet zo moeilijk toch?
De teamleden hebben allemaal gewerkt met een eigen gekozen stempel.
Ik heb gewerkt met Hummingbird. Heb hem ingekleurd met mijn distressmarkers.Het papier is van Maja Design (Walking in the forest). Verder alleen wat plakparels erbij.

Today the new challenge start at Shelly's Images. It's easy this time. The challenge is Show us what you got!  Anything Goes. Well that easy right?
The team members all worked with a digi of their choice.
My digi is called Hummingbird and I've coloured it with my distress markers.
The paper is from Maja Design (Walking in the forest). All a used is are some pearls.

Wanneer dit bericht op mijn blog komt ben ik al even bezig met mijn demo op  de Knotsgekke Kaartendagen in Den Bosch. Mocht je naar de beurs gaan vandaag, morgen of zaterdag kom dan zeker even bij de stand van Hobbidee (nr. 235) langs. Ik geef daar een demo met distress inkt, distress markers en twinkling H2O. Dus misschien nog tot ziens.

tutorial Shelly's Images

Omdat het plaatsen van de tutorial op het blog van Shelly's Images niet helemaal goed is gegaan zal ik hem hier ook laten zien.

Putting the tutorial on Shelly's Images blog didn't go as it should so I will show it to you here also.

Z Fold card

You need:

• cardstock
• scoringboard

For the base of the card you need a piece of card of 11x3.25”. For the front and the back you need 2 pieces of cardstock of 4.25x5.5”.

Score the base of the card at 4.5 and 9” and fold you scorelines.

If you fold it it should look like this.

Attach 1 piece of 4.25x5.5 to the back.

Put adhesive only on the flap and attach the other piece of cardstock to it.

It should open like this.

Now you can decorate the front of the card. And you can stamp a greeting on the inside of the card.

TTT Challenge Theme - Roll 'Em

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT en Roll 'Em challenge wat inhoudt dat je minimaal 3x met de Random.org een nummer moet trekken en dan het bijbehorende onderdeel moet gebruiken. Mijn nummers waren 2 (Ribbon/trim/twine of lace), 4 (kraft paper) en 6 (embossing)  Alle DTleden hebben een voorbeeld gemaakt met de digi "Relax" en dit is de mijne geworden. Alle randen van het papier heb ik beinkt met distress inkt gathered twigs en de digi is ingekleurd met mijn distress inkt. Ik heb geen scrappapier gebruikt. Alleen cardstock. De bloem is gemaakt met stanzen van Joy.

All the edges of the paper have been distressed with gathered twigs. And the digi is coloured with distress ink. I didn't use any design papers. Only cardstock.

TTT Challenge Theme - SEW happy together

Bij Shelly's Images is de nieuwe challenge weer begonnen. Deze keer is het een TTT Challenge met als thema SEW happy together. Dat houdt in dat er in ieder geval iets met "sewing" (naaien) op je projectje moet zitten. Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi Bluebirds. En ik vond die zo leuk om in te kleuren. Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt is van Authentique (Thankful). De digi is ingekleurd met derwentpotloden. Voor de ponsranden heb ik een pons van Martha Steward gebruikt.

The new challenge has started at Shelly's Images. This time it is a TTT Challenge and the theme is SEW happy together. Which means that you have to use sewing on your project. The team has worked with the digi Bluebirds. I loved coloring this digi. The paper is from Authentique (Thankful). The digi is colored with derwents. For the punched borders I've use a punch from Martha Steward.

TTT Challenge - Neutrals with POP of color

De nieuwe challenge staat op het blog van Shelly's Images. De keer is het de bedoeling om een kaart in neutrale kleuren te maken en een beetje kleur.
Het team heeft gewerkt met de digi "Key to my heart".
Ik heb het hart bewerkt met distress inkt en het sleutelgat ingekleurd met een rode spicapen. De harten erachter zijn gemaakt met stanzen van Cheery Linn.
Het papier is van Making Memories.
Hoe je deze kaart maakt laat ik binnenkort zien in een tutorial op het blog.

The new challenge has started at Shelly's Images. This time the theme is neutrals with a pop of color.
The team has worked with the digi  "Key to my heart".
I have blended the heart with distress ink. The key hole I have coloured with a red spicapen. The hearts behind it have been made with dies from Cheery Linn.
The paper I've used is from Making Memories.
